The original and unpublished studies which are subjected to scientific, technical researches and their applications in various branches of the Earth sciences can be presented during the Congress. The abstracts can be given on behalf of individuals or organizations. A participant can not present more than two papers.
The abstracts that are send through the Abstract Administration System in Congress website up to the deadline specified in the congress calendar will be accepted by conference session managers or appropriate scientific committee members after review.
All of the abstracts after evaluations in the form of oral or poster papers to be presented will be include the book of entire Congress Abstracts or e-books include.
Oral Presentations
Each oral presentation period will be 20 minutes including discussions and contributions. The data projector and dual monitors will be found in presentation halls. The Congress Organizing Committee is desired participants to use data projector during oral presentations. The detailed information related to the presentations will be published in Congress website approximately in six weeks before the Congress started.
Poster Presentations
In the Congress with increasing amount of participations compared to previous years, to give weight to presentations with the aim of economic use of time, increasing the discussions and contributions, and presentation techniques to enrich, "the Best Poster" Award will be given.
The scholarly contribution and visual impact of posters will be important criteria for the award winning. The awards will be given during the Congress Closing Ceremony to the poster owner(s).
The UCTEA contributions will be provided to the participants for poster printing stage. The posters to be presented will be prepared as a single portrait sheet with the dimensions of 120 cm by 90 cm.
Poster Preparation Guidelines
The title should be placed on poster board in a visible way to be seen easily. Author names, their addresses and e-mails should also be written and read clearly.
As much as possible the visual materials like photos, figures, and maps should be given weight, and the font size of the main text should be read at approximately 1 meter the distance. Introduction, development and results sections should be given a message must be scientific. Double line spacing, various sizes and styles of fonts necessary should be used in the text. Lines and patterns in different colors should be paid attention to the usage of of f in the figures and graphics. It should be paid attention to figures and graphics to be used in a different color lines and patterns.
